The Paleo Diet is a way of eating that aims to imitate the way our ancestors ate in the Paleolithic Period 2. 6 million years ago. The reasoning being that this is the way humans evolved to eat, and we have not evolved yet to match our modern processed food laden diets. It is essentially a low carb, low to medium fat, and high protein diet.
