Narayan Swamy was a native of Rajkot city of Gujarat state in the western part of India. His original name was Shakdan Mahidan Langawadra. He is a very famous singing artist of Gujarati Bhajan. The programs related to their worship, which the people of Gujarat call people's dayro or santvani, have also been made in foreign countries including India.
