Try new independent keyboard JustKannada. Install only if you can read "ತನು ಕನ್ನಡ, ಮನ ಕನ್ನಡ". If you see BOXES, you PHONE itself does NOT support Kannada. Kannada Language pack for AnySoftKeyboard.
