This application notifies when your device is connected with AP. Basically, you can see Wifi signal symbol when Wifi is available & connected, but you need to open "Wireless Settings" to know the name of AP. Moreover, "Wireless Settings" does not give more specific connection information such channel number, connection speed, and etc.
